The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams's series of bestsellers, comes to life in this big-screen adaptation, starring Martin Freeman (The Office), Mos Def, and Sam Rockwell. Arthur Dent wakes one morning to discover that his house is about to be demolished for a new highway. However, he has bigger problems this morning: it seems Earth is scheduled for demolition to make way for an interstellar highway. Luckily his best friend Ford Prefect (who also happens to be an alien) shows him how to hitch a ride on a spaceship. Add a braindead Galactic President with two heads, a manically-depressed robot, and a race of poetry-spouting, alien beurocrats in persuit and you're in for the strangest sci-fi/comedy/romance/action film you've ever seen.
