Special effects pioneer, artist, and director Stan Winston passed away this Sunday at the age of 62. It goes without saying that his work profoundly influenced many at NECA. His visionary work on The Terminator, Aliens, Jurassic Park, and countless other projects changed the field of special effects forever. All at NECA and NECAonline would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Mr. Winston’s friends and relatives and will sorely miss one of film’s most important innovators.
